Stage6 to Shut Down on February 28

From the post title you can easily guess that it is not good news. From one of my friend I got that news earlier today. Later when I visited Stage6 site me also saw the notice they put in their homepage regarding shutdown. After Youtube, Stage6 was my favorite video sharing site but if you ask me about video quality then stage6 is way better than other video sharing sites which are already available. I guess most of the user of stage 6 can’t deny about the video quality which stage6 offered. If you are wondering why they are closing the site as Tom (Divx employee) already said that the company doesn’t have enough resources so that it can continue the service. They were also unable to find a buyer for it and probably that’s why they took that decision to shutdown the site. It’s already created a huge buzz among stage6 users. Nearly 11000 comments written over there in Stage6 site and lots of comments are coming with only request that please don’t shutdown stage6.

If you are a regular user of youtube then may be you are quite familiar with this message “This video is no longer available”. If you are getting this message for a particular video that means the video has been removed by the youtube authority. But if you are still keen to see the video then you can take the service of Delutube. Through Delutube it is possible for you watch the deleted youtube video as long as youtube maintains a copy of the video on their cache servers. To watch the deleted video, you have to provide the youtube video id and Delutube will retrieve the deleted video and will play it. But remember if youtube remove the video totally from their server then it will not be possible to watch the video.

For example "VooHala_fAw"is the video id of this youtube video

Easy Blogger Hacks Remove Navbar & Label Count

To make Blogger more interesting you can always use some Blogger hacks. Earlier in one of my post I wrote about How to change the favicon in blogger. Today in this post I will show two easy blogger hacks which can be done very easily. So all you have do is just follow the steps


Go to your Blogger DashBoard-->Layout--> Edit HTML


How to remove the Blogger Navbar—

Search for the text “body”in your blogger template...(Use ctrl+f to find)

#navbar-iframe {
height:0px;
visibility:hidden;
display:none
}

Now add the above code in your blogger template after the end of body {….} then save the template. From Now your Blogger navbar will not show.


Remove Label count-

Search for in your blogger template..(Use ctrl+f to find)

After you got the above code just delete it ...then save the template...from now it will stop showing Label count.

Done!!!!!!

Post Schedule Feature in Blogger

Blogspot is very popular platform for all new Bloggers..Don’t ask me why...the simple answer is blogspot is very easy to use. But if you are serious about blogging then you can always prefer Wordpress rather than Blogspot cause in Wordpress will get so many advantages which you can hardly get if you are blogspot users. But the latest news is one more new feature added in Blogspot. The new feature is post schedule. This feature allows you to publish your post whenever you want. Example--If you want to publish a post ten days later all you need to do is just change the date then after ten days it will automatically publish in your blog. If you are planning to go on leave and don’t want to disappoint your visitors then take advantage of this feature. So don’t worry guys.. Days are not so far when blogger will also add the comment form under post feature(Dream of all blogspot users)



One more thing this post schedule feature will only work in Blogger in draft for regular interface it is not available yet.

Tomorrow February 4th Mozilla is going to release Firefox 3 Beta 3. This beta version of Firefox 3 will include two new features. The first feature is a new windows theme which was under development for a long time. But those who are using windows vista will not get any specific theme because new theme for windows vista is not complete yet.

The second feature is quite handy. It is an addition to the Add-ons manager windows. This new feature will help users to find the new extension within the Add-ons manager. So now users will be able to download and install the new extension without visiting the Add-ons site. After releasing FF 3 beta 3 there will be another quick release of beta 4.
