Xrecode Free Audio File Converter

Xrecode is a free audio file converter which supports a large variety of formats. It is specialized to perform CUE splitting of audio files and it automatically detects silences to split a large audio file. Xrecode is probably one of the best choices in freeware audio converters.

Features -

• The user interface: you can add a files or entire folders by dragging and dropping.
• Supported file types: can convert to/from any of the following formats; MP3, WMA, OGG, APE, FLAC, WavPack, AAC, and WAVE.
• CUE Splitting: simply drag the CUE file into the interface.
• Split by silence: this allow you to set the volume threshold, and the length of the gap in seconds that the program will look for to pinpoint gaps between the songs.
• Tag info: conversions retain tag information.
• Parallel processing: you can set the number of files to process at the same time in general, or you can do it in “advanced” mode where you set it for each file type.
• Other features: conversion from the command line interface, Unicode support. Supports 24Bit encoding (OGG, FLAC, APE, WavPack and WAV) and 32Bit encoding (OGG, WavPack, FLAC and WAV).

Currently it supports Czech, English, French, German, Hungarian, Japanese, Latvian, Russian, Spanish languages.
